Big teams aren't just tinkering with AI prompts anymore — they're rebuilding whole design workflows around it and training staff to match. That's a step up from the solo-plugin phase most juniors are still in.
Reports from inside Meta and Atlassian describe AI baked into research synthesis, motion, and even marketing handoff — not as a novelty, but as a funded, trained-for process. That's **adoption**, not hype: named companies, real budget, real training programmes. But don't panic if your team isn't there yet — most aren't. The gap between 'a senior posted about it' and 'this is how our studio works' is still wide, and ROI on these workflows is still being proven internally at most orgs.
What's useful for you right now isn't the scale, it's the pattern: pick one task, prove the AI saves real time, then expand.
Coach
pick one repetitive task in your process (renaming layers, writing alt text, first-draft copy) and test an AI tool on it this week — time yourself before and after.
